Book Review ♡ Clique Bait by Ann Valett

Day three and I actually finished reading this book yesterday, but was just too flat-out tired to write a review. Let’s revisit the rules of the challenge before we dive into today’s book. The rules of the challenge are simple: one book for twenty-six days. Every day the title of the book I read has to begin with that specific letter of the alphabet.

We have already visited ‘A‘ and ‘B‘ (posts can be found by clicking the initial) so naturally, todays book is Clique Bait – the debut novel of former Wattpad writer Ann Valett. I had hoped to check the novel out before it reached publishers, and any loyal Wattpad readers will be aware the book was originally penned as The High School Hit List. So when I heard the book had been picked up by HarperTeen, I was pretty excited.

Book Review ♡ Break the Fall by Jennifer Iacopelli (A-Z Reading Challenge)

Day one of the ‘2020 A-Z Reading Challenge, albeit a day late! I apologise for the delay in getting this one out – I’ve been absolutely exhausted mentally after work. Still, it’s the start of a week and some well deserved annual leave. Let’s revisit the rules of the challenge before we dive into today’s book. The rules of the challenge are simple: one book for twenty-six days. Every day the title of the book I read has to begin with that specific letter of the alphabet.

Of course the second letter of the alphabet is ‘B’ and so today’s read is Jennifer Iacopelli’s brilliant tale of Break the Fall. The book has been floating around my to-be-read list since early February and there just hasn’t been much time to get around to it. Actually, that’s a total lie because Coronavirus gave me plenty of time – I’ve just spent my time doing other things. I’ll admit now that I massively regret not picking this book up sooner!

Reading Challenge ♡ The 2020 A-Z Reading Challenge

I’ll admit that this year has kind-of run away from me. It feels like only yesterday when it was February and the UK was a few weeks away from entering it’s first lockdown. Now, on the fifth day of #Lockdown2.0, I’m getting ready for an intensive twenty-six day read-a-thon. I’ve handpicked all the books on my list and hopefully I will enjoy every single one.

The rules of the challenge are simple: one book for twenty-six days. Every day the title of the book I read has to begin with that specific letter of the alphabet. For example, day one will be a book beginning with ‘A’, day two will be a book beginning with ‘b’ and so on, until I reach the end of the alphabet! Books beginning with ‘A’ or ‘The’ (i.e; ‘A Christmas Carol’) will only count for the first letter of the second word (cont. ‘C’ for Christmas).
