I’ll admit that this year has kind-of run away from me. It feels like only yesterday when it was February and the UK was a few weeks away from entering it’s first lockdown. Now, on the fifth day of #Lockdown2.0, I’m getting ready for an intensive twenty-six day read-a-thon. I’ve handpicked all the books on my list and hopefully I will enjoy every single one.

The rules of the challenge are simple: one book for twenty-six days. Every day the title of the book I read has to begin with that specific letter of the alphabet. For example, day one will be a book beginning with ‘A’, day two will be a book beginning with ‘b’ and so on, until I reach the end of the alphabet! Books beginning with ‘A’ or ‘The’ (i.e; ‘A Christmas Carol’) will only count for the first letter of the second word (cont. ‘C’ for Christmas).
Not only is this a great way for me to get some reading done before the end of the year, but it also gives me the chance to visit some books that have been lingering around my TBR for a while. If I can stick to the challenge, then hopefully I will really enjoy the next twenty-six days. Quite a few of my favourite genres have crept into the list. I have tried to add in a few different genres that I normally don’t tend to go anywhere near.
NB: I haven’t seen this come up on anybody else’s blogs as of yet, but I’m aware this is a pretty unoriginal idea. There will duplicates and alternatives to this challenge floating around the internet, so comment below if anybody knows of the original book tag.

And there we have it, all the books to be read over the course of the next twenty-six days. I have to be honest, there are a quite a few mystery/thriller books in and here and that is very exciting. It’s quickly becoming my favourite young adult genre. Have I mentioned a book you’re looking forward to getting around to? Or maybe you’ve already read one? Let me know!
Can you name a book you want to know more about but can’t find on my blog? Something stuck on your TBR list? Leave me a comment below and let me know what you think. All read requests are acknowledged and appreciated! Until next time guys,
